Our monthly meetings take place the third Tuesday of every month starting at 7PM. Links to the zoom webinar will be emailed to chapter members.
December 15 – Jen Ripple is the editor of
DUN Magazine – DUN is a lifestyle magazine geared toward the female fly angler. Created for women and edited by women, DUN has become the home base for anglers of all skill levels. With the goal of empowering women, not ignoring men, all anglers will find value in DUN magazine’s articles focused on education, conservation, destinations and the fun of fly fishing.
All Maine TU chapters will have an opportunity to be part of these presentations!
Wait, What? Yep, all you need is an email invitation from Jeff Bush prior to the presentation time.
I wonder how much it costs? Our chapter asks for a $20 donation from a chapter that wants to participate in the zoom webinar. There is no limit on the number of participants and in exchange you et the secret zoom code from Jeff that a member of your chapter can distribute.
Couldn’t we at least get a lot of people involved during covid times? MMBTU wanted to share the expertise of renown national leaders and allow for the opportunity to let all of the state of Maine chapters to participate. We have chosen the webinar format since it allows the participants to type questions as the presentation progresses yet doesn’t interrupt the internet stream. The presentation may choose to pepper the audience questions at intervals or hold them until the end.
How can I help? Be patient through our opening glitches in our first zoom webinar. To participate all your chapter treasurer needs to do is send a check as a donation to our MMBTU chapter treasurer Orman Hines. We are suggesting that the amount be $20. Orman’s address is below. Soon we will have a Paypal button for each presentation so that you can pay online and have a receipt for your records.
